Kebabs can be made not only during the barbecue season.
They taste best prepared from chicken meat.
Chicken meat is the easiest to bake and the ingredients used for this particular marinade go nicest with it.
Make sure that you always marinate your meat before baking. If you do it in the evening and leave it in the marinade for the night, the chicken will be tender and succulent.
The dish I made did not contain any vegetables, however, you can add them. Peppers, mushrooms and onions are all good to use with these kebabs.

Ingredients to make chicken kebabs.
- 3 tablespoons of roasted peanuts (without salt)
- 3 tablespoons of BBQ sauce
- 3 tablespoons of natural yogurt (without lactose)
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons of black sesame seeds
How to prepare kebabs.
Clean the chicken breasts, soak them in water, dry them on a kitchen towel and cut them into cubes of three per three centimeters.
Put peanuts, bbq sauce, yogurt and salt in a bowl. Blend it until smooth.
Add the chicken cubes to the blended mixture. Leave it in the fridge for two hours.
Remove the marinated chicken from the fridge and skewer the chicken pieces with toothpicks. Sprinkle the top each skewer with sesame seeds.
Place the kebabs on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. In the middle of baking (after 15 minutes), turn them over.
Serve with additional bbq sauce, vegetables or rice.
What You need for making kebabs from chicken.
The skewers I used were 10 centimeters long.
The black sesame seeds can be replaced with fenugreek seeds.
I baked my kebabs in the oven but you can also grill them. If you do so, the grilling time should be reduced accordingly.
