Quick doughnuts with jam and chocolate

The preparation of doughnuts according to the standard recipes takes forever.

The other day I had a massive craving for something sweet and somehow thought of doughnuts.

I said to myself that I would like something similar to a proper doughnut that I can also prepare really quickly, instead of spending most of the afternoon in the kitchen.

40 minutes later I had a pile of ready-made “treats”.

Ingredients You need to make doughnuts.

  • 1 package of vanilla sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 spoons of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 600 ml of milk
  • 2 dkg of yeast
  • 3 i 1/2 cups of flour
  • sunflower oil for frying

How to prepare quick doughnuts.

Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk. Pour the sifted flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt into a bowl. Add whisked egg and milk with yeast. Mix thoroughly with a spoon. Set aside in a warm place for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, the dough should increase by a half in volume. If so, begin frying the doughnuts.

Take small portions of pastry on the spoon and gently toss them in hot oil. Fry them over medium heat until they become golden brown. Serve with jam or chocolate cream.




What You need to know when making jam doughnuts.



Some people sprinkle their doughnuts with caster sugar. Before doing so, let them cool down otherwise the sugar will melt.
