I cannot remember where I first tasted this spread but I do remember that it immediately felt to be for my liking.
I’m not a vegetarian, but I often cook vegetarian food.
They are light and tasty and, more importantly, vegetarian food is slightly cheaper to make.
The pea spread that I have for you today goes quite well with grilled vegetables.
You can use any combination of vegetables, for example parsnips. It is also very nice served with roasted potatoes or crackers.
This kind of dip is a great option for parties when you welcome a lot of guests and you are unsure what to prepare for them 🙂
Of course, it is also a good addition when served with meat dishes. In my opinion, it fits well with chicken meat.

Ingredients You need to make pea dip.
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of peanuts
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 200 gr of natural jogurt
- a pinch of herb pepper
How to prepare dip.
Cook the peas in water salted with 1 teaspoon of salt. Let it cool.
Put the cooked peas into the blender. Add peanuts, lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, a pinch of pepper and yogurt. Blend them until smooth.
That’s it, the spread is ready – quick and delicious.
It is important to let it chill in the refrigerator before serving.
What You need to know when making vegetarian dip.
I used roasted peanuts to make this dip, they were unsalted. If you use salted peanuts, be careful with the amount of salt you add.
