Salmon meatballs
Salmon meatballs in cream sauce with mustard is a dish that will appeal to fish lovers. The basis of this dish are salmon fillets, mixed and combined with egg, semolina and dill. After frying, the fish balls are cooked in a delicious sauce with mustard, cream, dill and lemon juice. What to serve salmon meatballs with? Ingredients for salmon meatballs.
- 500 g raw salmon fillets
- 50 g semolina
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of chopped dill
- 1 egg
Mustard sauce:
- 350 ml water
- 200 ml cream (30%)
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1 tablespoon of grainy mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of chopped dill
- 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Additionally:
- oil for frying

How to make salmon meatballs.
Cut the salmon fillets into cubes, place them in a mixer or food processor and blend. Next, add semolina, salt, pepper, chopped dill and egg. Mix, then set it aside in the fridge for an hour. After an hour, take the fish mass with a spoon and form it into balls with a diameter of about 5 centimetres each. Coat the balls in flour and fry over a medium heat until golden brown, for about 8 minutes. Place the fried meatballs on a plate lined with a paper towel.
Pour 200 ml of water, cream, mustard, salt and pepper into the pot. Boil it. Mix flour with 150 ml of water in a cup, pour it into the ingredients boiling in the pot and cook for about a minute. Then, add the fried meatballs to the sauce and cook over a low heat for 15 minutes. At the end of cooking, pour lemon juice and add chopped dill.
