Shawarma seasoning
Shawarma is a classic Arabic dish made from meat: lamb, chicken, turkey, beef or mixed meats. After seasoning, the meat is placed vertically on a spit and then slowly roasted. Often, the roasted meat is cut into thin slices and served with tabbouleh, bread, vegetables and various sauces. Cinnamon, paprika, cloves, cumin, turmeric and cayenne pepper are popular spices used for seasoning the meat. This homemade shawarma seasoning, for which I have a recipe for you below, has a distinctive and aromatic taste and is super quick to prepare. If you have never tried it, you are in for a real treat. This seasoning can be used with all your favourite meats and vegetables, including chicken. I encourage you to check the following recipe for shawarma seasoning, and I hope you will make it as often as possible.
